Conscious CRM
Data deletion
Last updated:
You can ask Conscious CRM to delete your data at any time. This page explains how, what happens next, and how to check a request you have made.
If you connected Facebook or Instagram
If you connected a Facebook Page or an Instagram account to Conscious CRM, you can ask for the data we received from Meta about you to be deleted, straight from Facebook:
- In Facebook, open Settings and privacy, then Settings.
- Open Apps and websites. For accounts you connected for a business, look under Business integrations instead.
- Find Conscious CRM and remove it.
- Choose the option to ask Conscious CRM to delete your data, and send the request.
Facebook sends us your request. We carry it out and give you a confirmation code and a link where you can follow it. Facebook renames its menus from time to time; its Help Center has the current steps for removing an app.
By email
Write to privacy@consciouscrm.com. Send it from the email address on your Conscious CRM account, or tell us which Facebook Page, Instagram account or WhatsApp number the request is about. We confirm that we received it and complete it within 30 days. We may ask you to confirm that the data is yours before we delete it.
If a business stored your details
Businesses use Conscious CRM to keep records of the people they work with. If one of them holds your details, that business decides what it keeps, so please ask it to delete them. If you cannot reach it, write to us and we will pass your request on.
What we delete, and what we keep
We delete the data tied to you. For a request through Facebook, that is the data we received from Meta about you and the accounts you connected, including their access tokens.
We keep a record that the request was made, so we can show that we acted on it: its confirmation code, its dates and a one-way fingerprint of your Facebook account ID that cannot be turned back into it. We also keep anything the law requires us to keep. Deleted data can remain in database backups for up to 7 days, until they expire. Our Privacy Policy has the details.
Check a request
Enter the confirmation code you received to see where your request stands. The link Facebook gave you opens the same page.
